Ingredients
White fish fillets (catfish or tilapia works best);1pound
Louisiana-style fish fry mix;1 cup
Buttermilk;1 cup
Cajun seasoning;1 tsp
Garlic powder ;1 tsp
Vegetable oil for frying
Method to Prepare Fish
Marinate the Fish
In the first step we have to take a bowl .We have to add buttermilk cajun seasoning and garlic powder in it. Its time to marinade the fish .mix the ingredients well and soak the fish fillets in it and marinade it for 30 minutes to enhance the flavours.
Prepare the Coating
Now take a shallow dish and put louisiana fish fry mixture in it. Take a piece of marinade fish and coat it in fish fry mixture one by one.
Heat the Oil
Now its time to fry the fish after coating. Take a frying pan and add vegetable oil in it about 2 inches deep. Heat the oil on medium flame.
Fry the Fish
After heating up the oil gently place the coated fillets one by one into the oil .Fry each side for 3-4 minutes or untill it get golden brown and crispy. Repeat the same process and fry all the pieces.
Drain and Serve
